Club Penguin Missing Buddies Question ANSWERED!

Hey Penguins!

Recently, you may have noticed that Club Penguin has updated their buddy card interface! You can now search for penguins, add them to your buddy list, and most importantly can now have up to 5 times more buddies! (Also, you can add mascots if you find them waddling around the island!) Anyway, I have been having problems and glitches with this new feature unfortunately. So, I decided to email Club Penguin Support about it! Here's our conversation:

Hi Club Penguin!
I know you are probably getting a lot of emails like this lately, but all of my buddies are gone! I'm sure this is just a glitch, but please tell me when this will be fixed by. I have had all of my buddies since 2007 and that'd be very unfortunate if I lost all of them.

Hello,
 Firstly, I would like to assure you that the Buddy List issue you experienced will not cause any of your friends to be deleted from your Buddy List.
 If you are still not able to see your buddies the next time you log on, we suggest that you have your parent or guardian help you with clearing your cache. To clear your internet cache, please follow the steps for your web browser located at this link:
 http://support.clubpenguin.com/help/technical/clear_my_cache.htm
 Once you have finished clearing your cache, please completely close your web browser to make sure all of the old files are removed.

So what do you guys think? Personally, after a bunch of experience with Club Penguin Support, I know that 90% of the time they say to clear your cache. Your cache stores the information from webpages so that they will load faster the next time you open them. Being that Club Penguin is so commonly used, with so many servers, and is based on Flash, your computer may not update Club Penguin 100% of the time.
